Summer Scholars Writing Academy

Aug: 3- Sept. 11: Writing Center operations are modified Aug. 3-Sept. 11 due to construction on the fourth floor of the Teaching and Learning Complex. Consultations will be virtual and center staff will relocate to Room 1211 in the Teaching and Learning Complex. Read our update for details.

Tuesdays at 3pm, The Writing Center

Immerse yourself in a supportive and stimulating environment as you enhance your creative and academic writing skills through the free Summer Scholars Writing Academy. The program offers current UC Davis students the opportunity to spend six weeks working on a variety of writing projects, including writing with nature, mapping your Davis experience and crafting zines. Students will engage with new writing situations that invite deeper engagement with audience, purpose and tone. Writing Center consultant Chloe Crull and Writing Center director Erica Cirillo McCarthy lead students through the weekly meetings.
