Joy Ok

Joy Ok (she/her/hers) is currently a PhD student in the School of Education. She received her B.A. in English and M.A. in Writing Studies from California State University, Stanislaus. Echoing many scholars before her, she strongly believes that writing is indeed a process, and therefore should be approached as such. To reflect this, she fosters a community of writers in her courses and supports students in developing self-efficacy as they navigate writing across academic genres.
