As associate vice provost, Joanna Johnson provides strategic vision and guidance to the newly launched Writing Center in the state-of-the-art Teaching and Learning Complex. 

In addition to providing a friendly and welcoming environment for all undergraduates seeking writing support, the Writing Center plans to provide university-wide writing services, workshops and seminars, personal statement and application guidance; graduate services including one-on-one consultations and dissertation writing groups; and faculty writing groups, workshops, and resources for instructors delivering the university’s writing curriculum across the disciplines.
