Bio

Ivey Wexler (they/she) is a PhD graduate student at the University of California, Davis. Their research focuses on science fiction and fantasy, through the lens of environmental fiction, as sites where we articulate the world we want to create so that fact might follow fiction. She is especially interested in fungi as companion species and the practices of reading and meaning making that they open up.
