Dr. Meisenheimer earned a Ph.D. in English from the University of Minnesota, where he began developing and delivering curriculum and instruction in scientific and technical writing.  At UC Davis, he most often teaches UWP 104E (Scientific Writing), UWP 102E (Engineering Writing), and UWP 104T (Technical Writing), helping future scientists and engineers understand the rhetorical strategies behind the documents and reports specific to their fields.
