Cindy Davis earned her Master of Arts in Linguistics (Applied track) at UC Davis. She also holds a Certificate to Teach English as a Foreign Language to Adults (CTEFLA) from RSA Cambridge. She has worked as an English language instructor at all levels for over 20 years. She has a love of travel and worked in West Africa as a Peace Corps volunteer. She has also taught English at a university in South Korea. She joined the University Writing Program as a lecturer at the University of California, Davis, in 2015. She enjoys photography, hiking, and hanging out with her kids.
