Andrea Hernandez

Andrea Hernandez is an Associate Instructor as well as a Ph.D. Candidate in Spanish Linguistics with designated emphases in Second Language Acquisition, and Writing, Rhetoric, & Composition Studies (WRaCS). Before coming to UC Davis, she served as a Visiting Lecturer at Cairo University (Egypt), where she taught Spanish, Applied Linguistics, and Writing & Composition. Her research focuses on L2 & Multilingual Writing, the acquisition and pedagogy of Spanish as an L2 and Heritage Language, and the Sociolinguistics of Spanish & Arabic.
